MILWAUKEE -- Nate Orf recorded his first big league hit in memorable fashion Wednesday against the Twins, belting a 2-2 curveball from Jose Berrios just over the wall in the left-field corner for a home run at Miller Park.
It was the Brewers' third homer of the game, and the second of the inning off Berrios, who drew a visit from Minnesota manager Paul Molitor.
The break in the action offered the perfect opportunity for a curtain call. Orf seemed to ignore the request at first, until teammates Jesus Aguilar and Manny Pina lifted the infielder onto their shoulders and up the dugout steps -- much to the delight of the 37,700 fans on hand for the holiday matinee.
