As sports all over the world begin canceling their seasons due to the coronavirus, MLB had been quiet about what their plans would be. Today, they made their decision, and will follow the lead of other leagues and stop operations for now.
The Brewers had been scheduled for a pair of split-squad games today, but both have been cancelled (though, the report on those is that they were rained out). Manager Craig Counsell also made a statement in regards to the current situation:
