Two reporters were involved in an altercation during Friday's game between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers, and as a result, one is facing felony charges.
According to FTVLive (h/t Bruce Vielmetti of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel), WITI-TV's A.J. Bayatpour, 32, was arrested on substantial battery charges after causing "significant injury" to WTMJ-TV reporter Ben Jordan. The police report stated the confrontation began after Bayatpour criticized his coworker Madeline Anderson. That's when Jordan stepped in to defend Anderson, his girlfriend, and was punched after the situation escalated.
Bayatpour has since been released from the Milwaukee County Jail on bail.
