Right-hander Chris Hall was drafted out of Elon University in the 14th round of the 2016 First Year Player Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays released Hall after he struggled in Single-A, and he caught on with the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League.
How did Hall do with the Boomers?
Well, he wouldn’t get signed if was awful, would he? Hall threw 29 2/3 innings and posted a 1.21 ERA. He struck out 47 and walked only nine, while earning four saves.
