Pitching has been the bane of the Milwaukee Brewers’ existence so far this season.
Though their starting pitching has been far worse, the Brewers have failed to get the kind of consistent, high-end production out of their bullpen that they got just one season ago.
The Milwaukee Brewers are in desperate need of at least another shut-down late-inning guy to take the pressure off of their ace closer, Josh Hader, and bridge the gap between the starters and him. The Brewers have experimented with several internal guys to do this late in games, but so far, none have excelled consistently enough to earn that role.
