Milwaukee Brewers to call up Freddy Peralta to start against the Rockies

The Milwaukee Brewers are calling on Freddy Peralta to make his major league debut against the Colorado Rockies tomorrow afternoon.

Peralta’s stay with the big league club will likely be a short one given the reason for his promotion. The Brewers announced earlier today that Chase Anderson had an illness and was unable to make his scheduled start. Anderson is headed to the 10-day DL. Brent Suter was forced into action a day early, and recent call up Alec Asher also had to pitch, leaving the Brewers with a need in the rotation.
