The Houston Astros want a proven bat and the Milwaukee Brewers have plenty of them. With players like Carlos Gomez and Gerardo Parra on the market and readily available, the Brewers should target first base prospect Jon Singleton of the Astros, whom Ken Rosenthal reported has been made available.
By trading one for one of these outfielders the Astros would be able to stay in the race and have a bat that could fill in for the injured George Springer.
