Earlier this week, Robert Murray of The Athletic reported that the Milwaukee Brewers were in the process of shaking up their scouting department and letting go of evaluators on both the professional and amateur side of the organization. Today, Murray identified three long-term members of the department who were let go, one pro scout and two amateur scouts:
#Brewers dismissed pro scouting crosschecker Ryan Thompson, regional supervisor Brian Sankey and area scout Dan Huston, sources tell The Athletic. Other changes possible.

According to his Linkedin page, Thompson was hired by the Brewers as a pro scout during the Doug Melvin era back in January 2010.
