Milwaukee Brewers’ pitching prospect, Tyler Wagner, isn’t highly touted. He isn’t found on any top-100 prospect rankings, but since his professional career began, he has been excellent. Off to another awesome start, Wagner is the best pitcher that no one knows about.
Currently ranked as the 11th best prospect in the organization according to MLB.com, Wagner has done nothing but excel at every minor league level. When he was first drafted by the Brewers in the fourth round of the 2012 draft, many thought Wagner would continue to pitch out of the bullpen as he did as the closer at Utah.
