By continually coming through in the clutch, former Milwaukee Brewers utility man Bill Hall quickly became a fan favorite. He delivered so much that the phrase “Bill Hall wins games” was coined as his walk-off hits became a regularity.
This season after his impressive April, Biloxi Shuckers pitcher Brooks Hall may begin to hear the same type of phrase uttered after his name. By dominating Southern League batters Hall looks to be on track to not only climb the prospect ladder in Milwaukee, but also work his way into the big leagues, too.
This spring Hall was taken off of the Brewers’ 40-man roster after the signing Francisco Rodriguez and with each time out he is proving that the Brewers are lucky to have been able to hang on to him.
