In 2015 The Brewers drafted outfielder Trent Clark in the first round as the 15th overall pick. Clark was considered to be one of the top prospects of the 2015 Draft. Fangraphs ranked Clark as the 7th best player available in the draft and Kile McDaniel, of Fangraphs, labeled Clark ‘the best pure hitter in the draft. Keith Law and Baseball America touted him as the 10th best player coming out of the draft, which gave the Brewers a good opportunity to land Clark at spot 15.
