In years past Milwaukee Brewers’ pitching prospects have been moved along at a snail’s pace throughout the system. Often they spend much of their first full season in rookie ball before crawling their way up the ranks. This has not been the case however for last year’s first round draft choice, Kodi Medeiros. The 18-year-old prospect has begun his first full season in the Midwest League as a member of the Wisconsin Timberrattlers and though he is pitching at an age years below his competition, he has proven exactly why the Brewers’ were so high on him last June.
