The Milwaukee Brewers have made a roster move before the start of tonight’s road series in St. Louis against the Cardinals. Hunter Strickland has been placed on the paternity list and will welcome a new addition to his family, while left-hander Hoby Milner has been recalled from Triple-A Nashville.
Strickland, 33, was acquired in a cash transaction with the Angels on June 12th and has become an important cog in the team’s middle relief equation. For the Brewers, he has appeared in 33 games and worked 34.1 innings with a 1.83 ERA, allowing only 19 hits with 12 walks against 37 strikeouts.
