Aaron Wilkerson pitched last night, so it is his turn to return to the San Antonio. Next up on the carousel of relievers is Deolis Guerra. The move brings a needed fresh relief arm to Milwaukee, but also fills a void left on the 40-man roster by the DFA of Hernan Perez.
Guerra is 30 years old, and he has seen MLB time with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Angels. His most recent stint in the majors was with L.A. in 2017 where he posted a 4.68 ERA over 25 innings.
Deolis Guerra is a big guy (6-5, 245) but relies heavily on his changeup.
