As you have already read and most likely aware, just before game time both Keston Hiura and Tyler Saladino we’re pulled from the field. Speculation grew and reports answered, both are moving to the Milwaukee Brewers roster while Travis Shaw was sent down and Hernan Perez was designated for assignment.
As for the game, wow is a great way to describe the combined one hitter against the Express in a 3-0 victory, the Missions 50th of the season.
Burch Smith allowed the only hit of the game, while pitching six shut out innings, striking out seven.
