After missing all of 2016, due to knee surgery, Sogard is back in the Majors after a month in Colorado Springs. The Milwaukee Brewers are looking to find yet another hidden gem in David Stearns’ tenure as GM. So far it looks as though they have.
Since being called up on May 12, Sogard has been a huge surprise. Normally known for his defensive skills, he has everyone’s eyes popping out of their Nerd Power shades with impressive production at the plate. He must have placed his bat in a furnace before arriving to the Majors because he has been red hot.
