Milwaukee Brewers announce Brent Suter as Sunday’s starter against Washington

Craig Counsell said earlier this week that the Milwaukee Brewers will mix-and-match their fourth and fifth rotation spots during the month of September. Brent Suter to start Sunday vs. Nationals in what amounts to a bullpen day. Suter threw 34p in his rehab start Wednesday.

Suter, who just turned 28, spent the early part of the season shuttling back and forth between AAA Colorado Springs and Milwaukee’s bullpen.
