We knew a roster move was coming for the Milwaukee Brewers at some point today, as the scheduled starter for tonight’s tilt, Chase Anderson, needed to be activated from the injured list. The club officially announced the transaction this afternoon via Twitter, naming Jacob Barnes as the man hopping the shuttle back to San Antonio:

Anderson had been on the IL since May 1st after rupturing a blister during his warm-ups before a scheduled start against the Rockies, which prompted the activation of Corbin Burnes from an optional assignment mere moments before the game.
