Brewers claimed LHP Sean Nolin from waivers today to fill up their 40-man roster. As many have stated on Twitter, he seems to be part of the Khris Davis trade, so now the Crew can say they got 3-for-1.
Breaking down just what Nolin can bring for the Brewers, he’s bounced around the minors since 2010 and appeared in just 2.1 innings for the Blue Jays. Being part of the Josh Donaldson trade, he went on to the A’s and pitched 29 innings with a 5.28 ERA. A sports hernia injury slowed Nolin down at the start of the 2014 injury as it showed he might have a chance to get a starting role, but ended up in AAA for the Nashville Sounds.
