The Milwaukee Brewers got some much-needed pitching help by acquiring Jordan Lyles from the Pittsburgh Pirates, the team announced Monday.
The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal first reported the Brewers were trading for Lyles.
The Pirates will receive minor league pitcher Cody Ponce from Milwaukee.
