Cincinnati — The Milwaukee Brewers' six-game winning streak at Great American Ball Park is history.
Jay Bruce homered and drove in three runs as Milwaukee starter Jimmy Nelson struggled and the Brewers fell to the Cincinnati Reds, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon in the conclusion of the teams' delay-filled series.
Bruce drove in the first three runs of the game with an RBI single and a two-run home run — the 30th of his career against Milwaukee.
The Reds grabbed the lead right out of the chute against Nelson.
Joey Votto drew a two-out walk and Brandon Phillips singled to put two on for Bruce, who pulled a grounder into the hole between first and second base.
