A little over two years after pitching his final game in the major leagues for the Milwaukee Brewers, Jim Henderson is back at Miller Park.
Now a reliever for the New York Mets, the 33-year-old right-hander has found yet another new lease on baseball life. Fully recovered from the shoulder surgery that ultimately ended his tenure with Milwaukee last year, Henderson is pitching in support of one of the top rotations in the major leagues.
"I explained to the guys with Milwaukee that I don't want to end my career on an injury," Henderson said Thursday before the teams' four-game series.
