The deadline to tender contracts to all arbitration-eligible players came today at 7 p.m. CT. Hoby Milner was the lone Brewer to not be tendered a contract, making him a free agent. All of the other arbitration-eligible players were tendered contracts. This included Eric Haase signing a one-year contract to avoid arbitration.
Entering today’s deadline, Milner was one of the few question marks for the Brewers. He was projected to make $2.7 million in his final year of arbitration, per MLB Trade Rumors. However, after a season where he posted a 4.73 ERA, his chances of returning took a significant hit.
