Miami — The question was a simple one, and Hernan Perez was armed with the answer.
How many walks did you draw last season?
"Four," Perez said quickly with a smile. "(Martin) Maldonado and Wily (Peralta) told me."
The topic arose after the utility infielder turned in a career game in the Milwaukee Brewers' 10-2 victory over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night. Perez reached base in five of his six plate appearances, singling twice and walking three times — a new high for a guy who was one of the Brewers' most aggressive swingers in 2015.
