Hader blows lead late as Brewers fall to Cubs, 4-2

Brett Anderson was originally scheduled to start for the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night, but when he was scratched, Brent Suter was tabbed to face off against Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs. It was Suter’s second start of the year, and although it was a short one, he simply dominated. The Raptor punched out the side in order to start the game, on his way to working three scoreless innings with six strikeouts and only one hit allowed — a single by Kyle Schwarber in the second. He even performed a gymnastics routine on the mound.

After Freddy Peralta came on in the top of the fourth, the offense got to work in the bottom half to stake Milwaukee to a lead.
