ST. LOUIS -- In a scary moment at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, Brewers third baseman Hector Gomez launched headfirst into the stands along the third-base side after chasing a foul pop.
Brewers medical personnel rushed to Gomez's side, hopping the fence and tending to him in the aisle between seating sections. Eventually Gomez stood and walked under his own power to the dugout for further evaluation. Hernan Perez moved from second base to third and Luis Sardinas entered for Gomez.
