CINCINNATI -- Junior Guerra, Milwaukee's Opening Day starter, continues to work his way back from an injury just three innings into the season that sent him to the disabled list.
"Injuries are a part of the game you can't control," Guerra said through interpreter Carlos Brizuela. "For me, it's just motivation to work harder."
Guerra suffered a strain of the right calf while laying down a sacrifice bunt in the third inning of his April 3 Opening Day start against Colorado. He was placed on the 10-day disabled list a day later.
Guerra has accompanied the Brewers on their current road swing through Toronto and Cincinnati.
