Milwaukee jumped out to a 2-0 by holding serve at home; game one's win came courtesy of a gem from Yovani Gallardo, while the Crew won game two despite a rather wretched performance from high-profile trade acquisition Zack Grienke. Arizona tied the series at two by battering Shaun Marcum and Randy Wolf, who were arguably the Brewers' most effective pitchers in the regular season but were like helpless babes under the October lights.
