Entering 2024 as MLB’s No. 2 prospect, outfielder Jackson Chourio had a bit of a shaky start to his major league career. After a rough couple of months, Chourio seems to have found some rhythm, hitting .315/.363/.534 with four homers, four doubles, 16 RBIs, 14 runs, and 23 hits in the month of June. He had an especially strong homestand last week, hitting .389/.421/.778 with a pair of homers, six RBIs, seven hits, and five runs across five games (18 at-bats).
While it’s not likely he’ll win Rookie of the Month (that honor seems likely to go to Jackson Merrill, but Tobias Myers made a strong case himself), he’s solidified himself as a cornerstone of this Brewers team as they move into the dog days of summer.
