Coming off of a series victory in Anaheim that was probably more difficult than the team or its fans would have hoped, the Milwaukee Brewers move a little further down the West Coast to start a four-game series with the San Diego Padres. The Brewers come in at 44-30, 7.5 games ahead of the rest of the pack in the National League Central. The Friars are hanging around the wildcard zone, and enter play at 38-40, in third place in the NL West.
Starting for the Padres tonight will be 23-year-old right-hander Adam Mazur.
