The Brewers are back at home after a 3-3 road trip. Though a break-even road trip usually isn’t too bad, this one feels a little disappointing since they had a chance for a better record. They’ll try to recover back at home, and they’ll start with the Tigers.
Tyler Alexander will make his third start (and fifth appearance) of the season tonight. In his last start, he pitched just 3 2⁄3 innings in the Brewers’ 17-2 win over the Rockies. He was roughed up a bit, allowing two runs, six hits, and two walks, while striking out three.
