After arriving in Pittsburgh from Miami in the wee hours of the morning Thursday, the Brewers played a 13-inning game that night against the Pirates. Accordingly, manager Craig Counsellrested rightfielder Ryan Braun, shortstop Jean Segura and centerfielder Domingo Santana on Friday. Segura had started every game since sitting out on July 26 in Arizona. "This was the plan even before (the 13-inning game)," Counsell said. "There were some guys who needed a day off.
