MILWAUKEE -- Orlando Arcia (El Nino) singled home the winning run to cap a three-run rally in the 15th inning and give the Brewers an improbable 7-6 victory over the Pirates in the series opener on Friday night of Players' Weekend.
After Pittsburgh had taken a 6-4 lead in the top of the 15th on Francisco Cervelli's bloop single, Milwaukee, which had not scored since a four-run first inning, got two runs in the bottom of the 15th on Erik Kratz's (Kratzy) bases-loaded single before Arcia won it.
