It’s been a tough trip to San Diego for the Brewers. For the third straight night, the Brewers took a hard loss to the Padres. They were down 6-0 after seven innings, and while they did try to rally in the ninth, it wasn’t enough as the Brewers lost 6-4.
The first three innings were evenly matched as the two starters, Carlos Rodriguez and Randy Vasquez, kept the offenses off the board for three innings. Unfortunately, Rodriguez couldn’t keep it up. He allowed back-to-back singles to start the bottom of the fourth inning.
