MILWAUKEE -- It started small for the Brewers, with slumping backup catcher Jett Bandy dumping a leadoff single into left field and pitcher Brent Suter coaxing an error by hustling out of the batter's box on a sacrifice bunt. It turned into something big.
Jesus Aguilar hit a go-ahead two-run single, and Travis Shaw smashed a three-run home run as the Brewers matched their biggest inning all season, scoring seven runs in the fourth to take an 8-2 lead over the D-backs on Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park.
Aguilar and Shaw delivered the biggest hits in back-to-back at-bats against D-backs starter Zack Godley.
