Cincinnati — A day after Matt Garza made some incendiary comments about his removal from the Milwaukee Brewers' starting rotation for the remainder of the 2015 season, manager Craig Counsell already was looking ahead.
"We're just moving forward," Counsell said Sunday morning. "We've got a game today. We're getting ready for that game. That's how I'm moving forward with it."
The Brewers informed Garza early last week that they'd be using his spot in the rotation to look at younger pitchers, giving him the option to pitch out of the bullpen like Kyle Lohse has since he was removed as a starter in early August.
