Corey Knebel heading to Double-A Biloxi for rehab assignment

When Corey Knebel went out with an injured hamstring on April 8, he was expected to miss around six weeks, though was hopeful he could be back in four weeks. It now looks like the four week estimate could end up coming true for him.

Prior to today’s game, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel gave an update on the plan for Corey Knebel:

Corey Knebel is off to Class AA Biloxi, where he’ll make 3-4 appearances beginning tomorrow. All goes well, he’ll be back with the Brewers for the next road trip.
