Christian Yelich will be one of the starting outfielders in the 2019 All-Star game. This will be Yelich’s second All-Star game, but his first appearance as a starter. What is even more satisfying is that Mr. Yelich received more votes than any other player in the National League. In some ways, the 2018 NL MVP seems under-appreciated around baseball. The final vote tally demonstrates that Yelich is seen as one of the great stars of the game.
This will be the first time a Milwaukee Brewer will start an All-Star game since 2014. That year, the Brewers were well represented by Carlos Gomez, Aramis Ramirez, and Jonathan Lucroy.
