The Milwaukee Brewers are going to be without Chris Capuanofor a while longer.
The left-hander said Friday that while an MRI taken on Tuesday didn't reveal any structural damage in his twice-surgically repaired elbow, a strained flexor tendon will continue to sideline him until he's pain-free and able to restart a rehab program.
Capuano, 37, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on May 26. He had progressed to the point where he was allowed to throw a simulated game last weekend at Dodger Stadium, but had to back off after feeling pain in the back of his elbow.
