LOS ANGELES -- While one Brewers reliever was on his way to rejoining the team Friday after a stint on the disabled list, another hit a potentially troubling roadblock.
Chris Capuano experienced "a little bit of discomfort" in his left elbow, according to manager Craig Counsell, during a 27-pitch simulated game at Dodger Stadium. The session that was to be his final step before a Minor League rehabilitation assignment, but for the moment, Capuano's comeback is on hold.
"We're going to have to reassess how we're going to progress, really," Counsell said. "[The next step] is not going to be a rehab assignment.
