The Brewers fell to the Angels in a 2-0 shutout on Saturday at Tempe Diablo Stadium.
The offense couldn’t get much of anything going all day, only mustering up 4 hits. Milwaukee’s pitching was a bright spot, however. The Brewers used seven different pitchers and only gave up one earned run across the nine innings.
The Angels scored their first run in the bottom of the third inning when Ben Revere hit an infield single off Joba Chamberlain to score Kaleb Cowart from third.
It was a one run game until the seventh inning when Ryan LaMarre hit a sacrifice fly to bring Eric Young Jr.
