Matt Garza made his much-anticipated return to the diamond today against the Cleveland Indians. In the leadoff position, Jason Kipnis smoked a ball straight into Garza’s shin, but Garza was able to overcome. Overall Garza gave up just one home run in 1 2/3 innings (giving that up to Collin Cowgill), walked two and struck out two before reaching his pitch limit. The Brewers would go on to win 6-5.
The hero of the day once again belonged to Yadiel Rivera, who hit his second consecutive walk-off home run.
