Bullpen falters late, Brewers lose to Cubs 3-2

After three straight days with some high-powered offense, the offense was due to come down a bit. Unfortunately, it came down a bit too far today.

The game didn’t start out well for the Brewers. In the bottom of the first, Lorenzo Cain grounded out but hit first awkward, and was seen limping afterwards. He did stay out in the field for the second inning, but was pulled at the start of the third and replaced with Billy MicKinney. Later on, it was announced that Cain was pulled with left quad discomfort.

In the second, the Brewers got on the board first.
