Luck was not on the Brewers’ side for St. Patrick’s Day. Even though the offense kept firing with an eight-run, 14-hit day, it wasn’t enough. The Padres put up 14 runs on the Brewers’ pitchers as the Brewers lost to the Padres on Monday.
The offense started quick with Jackson Chourio driving in the first run with an RBI double. Two batters later, Joey Ortiz added another RBI double to make it a 3-0 game, and then Manuel Margot added another run with an RBI single. Before Logan Henderson took the mound, he was staked to a 4-0 lead.
