MILWAUKEE -- Manager Craig Counsell referred to his team on Friday afternoon as "a little bit of a high-wire act," which seemed an apt description as the Brewers celebrated their second 5-4, walk-off win in four days later that night.
Josh Hader, of all hitters, started the Brewers' first scoring rally in 23 innings with his first Major League hit in the fifth inning before Eric Thames and Travis Shaw hit two-run homers, and Orlando Arcia beat the Cubs in the bottom of the ninth with a one-out single.
The celebration came four days after the Brewers beat the Cardinals in the bottom of the ninth inning by the same score.
