u25a0 Two plays were challenged by video reviews, with the teams splitting the decisions. One of the calls cost the Cubs their manager, however. When Joe Maddon questioned a review at first base that went against Chicago in the third inning, he was ejected by crew chief Hunter Wendelstedt by rule. Wendelstedt tried to give Maddon a break by motioning him back toward the dugout but when the manager kept coming, he got tossed. The Brewers lost a challenge at second base in the fifth in which Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant was shaken up and had to leave the game with concussion-like symptoms.
