Brewers unable to get big hit, shut out by Blue Jays

Box Score

The Milwaukee Brewers were shut out by the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday evening as they went 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position and just weren’t able to get a big hit when they needed it. The lack of offense gave no help to rookie Carlos F. Rodriguez, who made his anticipated debut this evening. Rodriguez was shaky but was able to limit the damage, and the Brewers’ bullpen kept the game close. But the Milwaukee offense was kept off the board by Jays starter (and possible trade target) Yusei Kikuchi and four relievers.
