Glendale, Ariz. — Brian Anderson is sticking around for the foreseeable future.
The Milwaukee Brewers' popular TV play-by-play announcer, whose national reputation has grown considerably in recent seasons with his work calling MLB, NBA, NFL and NCAA Tournament games, has signed a multi-year contract extension, he confirmed Tuesday.
The deal, which was finalized in January, will parallel the multi-year national contract Anderson signed with Turner Sports.
"The Brewers and Fox Sports Wisconsin gave me the opportunity of a lifetime when they took a sizable risk on me in 2007," said Anderson, 44.
