The Milwaukee Brewers already have come to terms with several of their selections from the 2015 draft, including an agreement in principle with first-rounder Trent Clark, a prep outfielder from Texas.
The allotted signing bonus for the 15th pick is approximately $2.7 million and Clark is expected to sign for thereabouts. Before the deal is official, he has to pass a physical exam.
Asked if a deal was close with Clark, amateur scouting director Ray Montgomerysaid, "That is accurate. We are closing in. We have to go through all the remaining steps. It could be as early as next week sometime.
