The Brewers took game two of the three-game set in Boston, defeating the Red Sox 6-3 at Fenway Park to clinch the series win Saturday afternoon.
For the second straight day, Jared Koenig started the game as Milwaukee’s opener, but he had much better results this time around after allowing a hit and a walk in 2⁄3 of an inning. Across 1 1⁄3 innings, he was perfect, striking out three batters.
The second inning got off to an interesting start, as Willy Adames hit a liner down the left field line but a fan reached out and deflected the ball toward the left fielder, holding Adames to a single.
